Liberbyte joins a European AgriFood-AI network advancing data harmonisation, interoperability, and responsible data sharing for One Health.

Liberbyte GmbH is pleased to announce that it has successfully qualified for the EU AgriFood-AI COST Action. This marks an important step for Liberbyte in contributing to European collaboration around artificial intelligence, data exchange, and innovation in the agrifood sector. The Action brings together an AgriFood-AI network of more than 200 institutes across 37 countries, creating a strong European platform for collaboration between research, industry, and public-sector stakeholders. A key objective of the Action is to promote data harmonisation, interoperability, and responsible data sharing in support of One Health. Managing Director Tero Salomaa welcomes the opportunity to participate in the network and to bring Liberbyte’s experience in decentralized, open-source data infrastructure to the initiative. Through its bytEM and OUDEA (Open Unified Data Exchange Architecture), Liberbyte is working to make data more accessible, usable, and exchangeable across organizations while allowing data owners to remain in control. Participation in the AgriFood-AI COST Action aligns strongly with Liberbyte’s mission to support trusted, interoperable, and scalable data exchange and data product infrastructure for research, industry, and public-sector use cases in Europe.
